Mama

And so it begins…

When Aidan first started saying mama, I melted. He would say mama, touch my face and give me the biggest, sloppiest kisses. Then the mama became more of distress call… “maaaaammaaaaa I am up from my nap, come get me.”

Flash forward oh about 4 weeks or so. MaMa is gone. It has been replaced by the demanding “MA.” Usually with his arms straight up in the air. He literally almost screams it and demands to be picked up. He is growing so fast and as everyone likes to point out he has my number. He is a different kid when it is just the two of us. He literally grows on my hip, follows me around in his walker (again MA with arms in the air) won’t let me get out of his sight. As long as I am holding him, sitting on the couch with him or have all of my attention focused on him he is fine. If not, well…not a happy camper. Of course when daddy comes home he is a Daddy’s boy.

Speaking of which…I am being paged! “MA”
